WELTSCHMERZ is an emotionally-charged short about a concentration camp prisoner after her failed escape attempt, now trapped in the clutches of an SS Officer, awaiting her public execution. Meanwhile, two children play in a creek, far from the horrors of the Holocaust. Intricate, dark, and violent, this film is a reflection on our shared humanity and warning against blind hate.
